COMPANY
Norman
White formed N.V. White Limited & Company in 1960, after having
worked as an electrical engineer for many years. The Company became
Limited in 1964, and moved into offices in High Street, Penge.
The
Company progressed, carrying out electrical installations to high
standard, and was accepted as a member of the Electrical Contractors
Association in December 1964. The Company were then accepted as
a member of the National Inspection Council in 1966. Gaining membership
of these organisations enabled the Company to offer its services
to Commercial and Industrial clients.
The
ECA and NIC both lead the way in ensuring that the customer always
receives installations of the highest standard, at the same time
giving much support to the contractor. In January 1968 the Joint
Industry Board was formed and N V White Limited became a member
company, this meant that all operatives were graded to their abilities
and now the J.I.B control the wage negotiations, training and industrial
relations within our industry.
